How To Troubleshoot The Roku Won’t Turn On Issues During Roku Account Setup?


To setup the Roku you need to enter the Roku link code which activates your Roku player. Here some steps to enter the Roku link code in your TV.
·         Initially, you have login into your Roku com link account
·         Ensure that your Roku device connected to your TV and turn on them.
If your Roku won’t turn on follow the below guidelines
Reason for Roku won’t turn on:
  • Power Cable was not connected properly
  • Defect in power cable
  • Defect in power port
  • Defect in motherboard
Power Cable was not connected properly
Solution:
  • Check whether the cables are connected properly.
  • Then remove the power cable from the wall out and the device.
  • Then wait for 20 to 30 seconds
  • Then plug in the power cord and power cable
  • If you are using the power strip then make sure the strip is switched on and plugged in.
Defect in power cable
  • If you plugged the cable properly but the device will not turn means there is the defect in the power cable.
  • Check with alternative power cable whether the device turns on or not. IF it works means you need to change the power cable.
  • Otherwise, the outlet having the bad electrical.
  • Don't try to repair the faulty power cable that may cause serious injury.
Defect in power port
  • If there is no defect in the power cable, you need to check the power port terminals.
  • The power port terminals may be loose so you need to re-soldered it.
  • If the power port terminals are broken then you need to replace them.
Defect in Motherboard
If there is no defect in the power cord and power cable then motherboard having issues or failed. Then you need to replace the motherboard
·         After turn on the Roku, setup your Roku com link account.
·         By Connect your Roku and Roku TV, you can easily find your Roku link code.       
·         Connect the wired or wireless network with your device.
·         Once the device connected it asks for the update then it will be the reboot.
·         Then the device displays the Roku link code on your TV.
·         Then enter the link code in the Roku com link account.

            Go to roku.com/link web site and enter the Roku link code which was displays on your TV. And press Submit button.
Then your device will be activated successfully. Happy Streaming..!
